Please join us on our summer visit to Bakewell, situated on the banks of the River Wye, this stunning little town really is the gem of the peak district, definitely Derbyshire’s treasure in its chest, so spend some time strolling around this beautiful market town taking in the sights of its centre, such a lovely place to explore with a mixed variety of independent gift shops, famous almond pudding shop, boutiques, high street stores & not forgetting the famous market, you will surely find some little treasure and bargains of your own today.

Later we move on to the canal boat cruise where once on board the Judith Mary II you will cruise along the Upper Peak Forest Canal, taking in the stunning scenery along the way, while enjoying a delicious afternoon cream tea. Platter of assorted sandwiches, warm home-made scones with butter, cream, jam & tea or coffee available.

There’s also a well stocked bar on board for your enjoyment, should you wish.
