Set in the Stunning backdrop of the Ironbridge Gorge, Telford, & on SUNDAY 26th MAY you will be transported back in time to re-live the war years. You will be amazed at this re-creation experience of life during the 1940’s & W.W.2 on both the home front and in occupied Europe, with civilian, allied and axis re-enactors. Look out for Winston Churchill (Steve McTigue) & Field Marshall Montgomery (Monty Double).. For your enjoyment there will be the living history groups, fabulous music to enjoy in the marquee at the Dale Park End and in the Ironbridge town centre.
Enjoy the sounds of Miss Lily Lovejoy – Vintage Vocalist & many more entertainers, tbc in 2024, all bringing back the nostalgia from a bygone era, authentic uniforms and costumes will be in the plenty, fashion show, plus period vehicles, & lots of stalls and many delicious food & drink outlets, including the Wheatsheaf 1940’s Bar.
