Yorkshire Lavender Farm with its panoramic views over the Vale of York is said to be the best in Yorkshire, today we visit this amazing 60acre farm which has hundreds of different lavenders and herb varieties to admire & an extensive range of lavender products are available to buy. Enjoy cream tea consisting of lavender or fruit scone served with blueberry & lavender conserve, butter, clotted cream, filter coffee or Yorkshire tea. (All included in this visit) while you admire the stunning array of different colours from white through to a complete range of blues, lilacs to the magnificent deep purples along with a range of distinct and heady, intoxicating scents, it’s just a truly wonderful experience, not to be missed. We travel on for a short visit to the walled city of York, founded by the ancient Romans, its huge 13th century Gothic cathedral, York minster with its medieval stained glass and two functioning bell towers. Not forgetting The Shambles, this historic street in York featuring preserved medieval buildings, some dating back to the 14th century, is not to be missed. York is Situated by the River Ouse which flows through the city.
