Private Hire Terms & Conditions
Should the vehicle be taken on a longer journey than contracted for, an additional charge will be payable.
The right is reserved to sub-contract a vehicle from another coach operator.
The company is not responsible or liable for any loss of property, luggage, or personal effects. These are carried on the vehicle at the owner’s risk.
Any damage caused to the vehicle by any member of the party or group travelling on the vehicle shall be the responsibility of the hirer.
All parking fees are the responsibility of the hirer. Payment can be made before or on the date of engagement.
The most direct route between any two points will be taken by the driver unless prior arrangements have been made.
Quotations are based on the details given in the confirmation, including departure times, destinations, pick-up points, etc. Any alterations to these details will require a new quotation.
The hirer must abide by legislation concerning driver’s hours regulations. Failure to comply with these provisions renders the company and the driver liable to heavy fines. Drivers are instructed to leave all destinations at the times stated.
All monies are to be paid as outlined in the terms of confirmation.
Cancellation of bookings are as follows. Deposits are non-refundable. Following confirmation, a 10% cancellation charge applies up to 7 days prior to travel. A 50% charge applies between 7 days and 2 days before travel. A 100% charge applies within 2 days of hire. Additionally, during the months of June and July, cancellations made one week after confirmation up to the day of hire will result in a 100% charge being applied. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Failure to comply will result in the full hire amount being payable.
The wheelchair lift can accommodate 300kg. Go Goodwins does not take responsibility for lift failure if the wheelchair weight exceeds this limit.
Please be mindful that these vehicles are over 50 years old and occasionally may experience issues. Due to their age, it can sometimes be difficult to obtain necessary parts. Therefore, if there is an issue with one of our vintage vehicles, Go Goodwins reserves the right to replace the booked vehicle with a modern coach while refunding the customer half of the amount paid.
A 10% deposit is required at the time of booking for the hire of transportation. The remaining balance must be cleared in the Go Goodwins account 10 days prior to the trip.
PLEASE NOTE: We will do all in our power to have Coaches at the place and times stated on the day of engagement. However we cannot guarantee or accept liability for non-appearance of Coaches through unforseen circumstances, such as strikes, mechanical breakdowns, fires, etc.

Day Trip Travel – Timing & Disruption Policy
At Go Goodwins, we take great pride in providing enjoyable and well-organised day trips for our passengers. As a long-established family-run business, we always make every reasonable effort to operate all trips in accordance with the advertised itinerary and timings.
However, passengers are kindly asked to understand that travel by road can occasionally be affected by circumstances beyond our control. These may include, but are not limited to, traffic congestion, roadworks, weather conditions, accidents, diversions, operational requirements, venue delays, or other unforeseen events.
Whilst we will always do our very best to keep to the planned schedule, times may occasionally vary and slight delays or alterations may occur.
Please note that:
• All timings provided are approximate and subject to change.
• No refunds, compensation, or liability will be accepted for delays, disruptions, itinerary changes, or circumstances outside of our control that may affect the duration or enjoyment of the day.
• In the unlikely event that changes are required, our team will always aim to minimise disruption and ensure passengers reach their destination safely.
By booking and travelling with us, passengers acknowledge and accept these conditions.
